Warranty Terms and Conditions

Warranty Terms:

From purchase date, product warranty spans:

Evaporative Coolers & Ducted Gas Heaters: 5 years (extendable) - Ducted Gas Heaters - Heat Exchangers & Burners, Evaporative Coolers - Structural components: 10 years
Other Applications: 1 year (extendable)
Warranty Conditions:

To claim warranty, the purchaser must:
a). Maintain product as instructed in service manuals. b). Comply with purchaser responsibilities. c). Notify Rinnai within 30 days of defect. d). Provide Proof of Purchase.
Exclusions:

Warranty excludes damage from improper operation, faulty installation, external factors, weather, misuse, third-party components, and more.
Limitations:

Rinnai's liability is limited; indirect loss/damage isn't covered except where statutory rights apply.
Travel & Access Costs:

Purchaser covers costs for repairs 100km+ from Rinnai, while Rinnai covers costs within 100km, or as specified.
Purchaser's Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain per Operating Instructions and service schedule, including cleaning, replacing filters, ensuring proper airflow, etc.

The PURCHASER WILL BE CHARGED for work done or a service call if:- • the problem is not covered by these Terms of Warranty; • there is nothing wrong with the product (e.g. instructing Purchaser on the operation of the Product and/or controls) • the Purchaser is unable to provide Proof of Purchase validating that the Product is within the Warranty period. We recommend that you read the operating instructions, and in particular the troubleshooting section of the Operating Instructions, before you make a Warranty service call.
